Ano ba’ng meron sa blog?

I blog whenever I feel a surge of emotions engulfing me. My weakness is that I have a difficulty in channeling stress effectively. It’s hard for me to talk to somebody about my “feelings” ‘cause it’s too cheesy for me. When I’m angered I tend to bottle it up and save it until I have time either to completely contain my temper or lash out to a “Few” good friends. I only have – TWO – persons that I contact in case of emergency. And it’s difficult with my current set-up – school – Advo – Duty – Bahay – period. That I’d rather rest on my free day rather than go out and mingle. We do meet once in a while but that occasionally happen now. So I blog.

I personally view blogging as a manner of self-promotion and a huge SHOUT-OUT. Isang paraan ‘to ng tao para mapansin. Lahat naman ng tao gustong mapansin. Lahat may pagka-KSP, Masama ba pakinggan?

Isa ka lang at walang ibang taong katulad mo. Nag-iisa ka lang sa mundo. You’re unique and in no way someone is exactly you. You are only one.

In a class there are 40+ students, in a college there are 5000+ students, in a university there are 20,000+ students, in a city there are 100,000+ people, in a country there are 1,000,000+ people. And to think that you are a singular digit amidst that huge number. Even at the classroom level you are barely noticeable. Kaya masisisi mo ba ang mga taong gusto mapansin?

Iisa lang naman ang gusto natin lahat. Na may mga taong makaalam na BUHAY tayo at nandito tayo. It’s sad to think that there will only be at least a thousand people who will know you in your whole lifetime. Most of them will also forget you, only 50 will be able to tell who you really were and only a handful will feel your loss if you die. While a billion people will never even know your name, moreover the fact that you existed.

We all want to be more than a name etched on tombstones. We just want people to notice our existence. Just like in the movie “Shall we Dance” as what Susan Sarandon said to the Inspector, we want somebody to be our witness which is the reason why people marry and why people love. We choose one person to be our witness for our whole life, to be witness to our life’s undertakings and adversities. Just one, someone, who will witness our life.

Kaya nakakatuwa isipin na sa bawat araw may nakikilala ka. Kung hindi man, nakakasalamuha mo ang mga taong madalas mong kasama. Kasi alam mo na kilala ka nila at kahit pa’no may ibang tao na nakakakilala sayo. Dadating ang oras na magkakahiwalay kayo. Pero siguro naman masasabi nila sa sarili nila na, “ah si ____ oo kilala ko ‘yan.” Hindi nakakahiya kung pinansin mo sila at hindi ka nakilala, kasi ikaw alam mo na kilala mo siya. Hindi ka katulad ng mga artista na kilala ng masa pero sila hindi nila kilala ang fans nila. It's better to have friends who knows what you can do and what you are able to do. It's better to know the people who know you.

So be sure to know who are the people in your everyday life. Because one day, they might be the one's who determine what your life should be.
